JLL are excited to open applications for our 2025 Apprenticeship program. We are seeking an Apprentice Business Administrator to join our team in Derby. This apprenticeship program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain practical experience and expand their knowledge in the field of Business Administration. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the apprentice will support various administrative tasks across our portfolio of commercial real estate properties whilst working towards becoming a NVQ qualified Business Administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the management and distribution of key UK reporting packs
- Supporting the management of meeting records and associated distribution
- Generating reports across multiple disciplines against management process
- Completion of administration duties across our compliance platforms
- Setting up of new jobs on internal systems, processing approvals, correspondence with clients and engineers and relevant admin associated tasks
- Creating job orders, issuing and managing/escalating any queries
- Maintaining internal registers/databases
- Monitoring team email boxes and dealing with queries
- Processing stationary orders/ travel requests
- Raising invoices and processing necessary actions through to payment
- Organising IT access/equipment/systems accesses for new starters
- Dealing with general office/building related queries
- Any other ad hoc administrative tasks as required
- Liaising and building relationships with various stakeholders including management, suppliers and partners
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above. This must include English and Maths
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with skills in Word and Outlook for effective document creation and email communication
- Enthusiastic and passionate about developing a career in administration
- Eager to develop new skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively within a team
- Organised and with good time management skills
- Able to meet deadlines, managing multiple tasks effectively
- Good level of attendance and self-discipline
