Your new role:

The FIS Supply Chain Finance Client Services team monitors system operation, supports customers, performs configuration changes, and collaborates internally to roll out the platform to new clients. As a Senior Operations & Application Support Analyst, you will provide 2nd and 3rd line support to our global customer network, owning resolution and root cause analysis of complex technical and functional issues at Level 2 or Level 3.

What You'll Do:

  • Triaging tickets, analyzing, and resolving customer issues
  • Maintaining effective communication with clients throughout incident resolution
  • Identifying quick solutions for critical issues to restore business as usual in line with SLAs
  • Monitoring system health using tools like infrastructure and application monitoring suites, SQL, and ActiveBatch
  • Collaborating with Development, Infrastructure, and Implementation teams for onboarding new customers
  • Resolving incidents or escalating when necessary
  • Responding to system monitoring events

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line application support in a customer-facing environment
  • Typically 5-7+ years of relevant experience, with a focus on quality over quantity
  • Proven success in supporting, troubleshooting, and implementing major enterprise systems
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and data transformation
  • Passionate about helping others and solving problems
  • Logical and insightful troubleshooting skills
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks in a high-pressure environment

Advanced Technical Skills Including:

  • SQL and RDBMS
  • Monitoring and scheduling tools (DataDog & ActiveBatch)
  • XML and data file formats
  • Windows Servers
  • Cloud and virtualization/containerization (Azure)
  • Understanding of ITIL concepts

Working Hours:

This role involves shift work, with three shifts:

  • Early Shift: 06:00 – 14:30 GMT
  • Mid Shift: 09:00 – 17:30 GMT
  • Late Shift: 14:30 – 23:00 GMT

A typical pattern is 1 Early, 3 Mid, 1 Late shift per week.
