A respected and growing accountancy firm based in the Liverpool area is looking for an experienced Semi Senior Accountant to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who is ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified with 2 years practice experience and will play a key role in delivering and handling accounts.
What you’ll be doing:
- Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Draft corporation and personal tax returns
- Assist with bookkeeping and VAT returns when needed
- Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries
- Support senior staff on client projects and reviews
- Build your technical knowledge across different sectors
What we’re looking for:
- AAT-qualified or ACCA/ACA part-qualified
- At least 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice
- Confident preparing accounts to trial balance or final stage
- Experience in audit (not essential but desirable)
