We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Manager, Information Security Detection and Response Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to protect our organization's critical controls. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the cyber threat landscape, attacker tactics and techniques, and content development lifecycle, ensuring our security detection and response initiatives are effective and continuously improving. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Risk Management and Security Architecture teams to develop cyber security roadmaps and solutions aimed at reducing security risks.
- Leverage SIEM and its correlation capabilities to strengthen detect capabilities to drive more effective threat detection, faster incident response, and greater resilience against evolving threats.
- Identify gaps or decay in current security controls and engage with infrastructure and application development teams to design and build secure solutions.
- Develop AI-driven automation for protection and response measures.
- Regularly review, test, and optimize detection strategies to stay ahead of evolving threats.
- Develop and maintain metrics and reporting to monitor effectiveness of security detection and response initiatives and ensure continuous improvement.
Required Experience You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in management information systems or computer science or equivalent degree.
- 5+ years expertise in cybersecurity engineering and/or security detection and response engineering.
- Experience in one of the following: security networking, DevSecOps, ITDR, or other Detection and Response roles.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Experiences and Skills
- 1 year experience designing or supporting solutions in endpoint, cloud, network, identity IT domains.
- 1 year experience in monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats and incidents (SecOps, SIEM).
- Professional Certification - CISSP or equivalent or willingness to complete within first year of employment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of one or more industry security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27000, ATT&CK, OWASP).
- Practical experience in developing security solution design and driving end-to-end solution delivery.
- Experience designing and implementing controls using Microsoft cyber security tools.
- Effective communication skills that encompass verbal, written, and presentation capabilities, suitable for engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a keen sense of ethics and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and decision-making.

- Full time onsite in Racine, WI.
- Remote work available once a week for eligible employees.
- Not eligible for domestic relocation.
