enior Fire Door Engineer Senior Fire Door Engineer . A Crawley based fire protection firm need a Senior Fire Door Engineer to join the team. The main duties of a Fire Door Installer Engineer include: The Senior Fire Door Engineer will take responsibility for completing the refurbishment, maintenance, inspection and always delivering a high level of workmanship. The Senior Fire Door Engineer will: Working in a team and independently when required Liaise with management team daily. Perform inspections and assessments of existing fire-rated doors to identify any repairs or replacements needed. Install fire-rated doors in accordance with fire regulations, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines. Install and maintain fire-rated door hardware, including locks, hinges, closers, and panic devices. Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, including fire ratings, smoke sealing, and door clearances. Maintain accurate records of door installations, repairs, and inspections. Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained. Travel to multiple sites as required. Fire Door Engineer experience & skills required: UK Driving License (required) All aspects of fire door Inspection, installation and maintenance.
