We seek an experienced Data & Analytics Governance Manager to create and implement enterprise-wide data governance policies, frameworks, and standards. This role is central to our Transformation Data & Analytics team, impacting operational efficiency and strategic decisions. About The Role You will establish trusted data foundations by defining policies, championing data quality, and embedding governance across systems. Collaborating with business and tech stakeholders, you will standardize data practices and lead governance forums, fostering a culture that values data as a strategic asset. Key Responsibilities Design and implement enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and standards Ensure consistency across master data, taxonomies, and hierarchies Identify and resolve data quality issues Assess and mitigate data risks, ensuring compliance (e.g., GDPR) Promote data literacy and ownership through training and advocacy Manage stakeholder engagement to embed governance practices Develop and monitor KPIs and maturity models for data governance About You You bring strategic thinking and hands-on experience in data governance within complex organizations. You excel in change environments and can lead people through transformation. What You’ll Need To Succeed Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-first decision-making approach Ability to influence stakeholders and foster collaboration Experience with data governance best practices and tools (catalogues, dictionaries, lineage, observability) Understanding of data compliance and regulations like GDPR Degree (BA, BSc); Master’s preferred UK work authorization Why Tarmac?
