Power BI Developer

Power BI Developer / Business Intelligence Developer – Hybrid / 2 days wfh As our Client\’s Power BI Developer (Business Intelligence Developer), you will design various analytical reports on company data and deliver them to senior management and other interested parties. You will be working closely with both management and business users, collecting requests and then creating new or updating existing Power BI reports to accommodate business needs. The Power BI Developer will be expected to establish company standards and common reporting terminology to help align existing and future reporting requests to such standards. A good understanding of writing and updating optimized T-SQL will be required, as well as relational database design knowledge. As part of this role, you will also be interacting with the company’s third-party MIS software to ensure data is clean and that business and system processes fit business needs. You will also be responsible for any day-to-day MIS software queries and issues, liaising with the third-party software provider to resolve these. Required Skills: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Power BI development role. Understanding of database operations and optimization for Microsoft SQL Server. Understanding of data and query optimization, stored procedures, and functions. Creating & maintaining business requirements and other technical documentation for reporting, data analysis, and the company’s third-party MIS processes. Troubleshooting, communication, and analytical skills. Educated to degree level in Maths, Software Development, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
