Join to apply for the Fabric Technician role at Mitie Job Overview Ensure that JCA delivers their contracted fabric maintenance duties Manage day-to-day reactive works in a safe and efficient manner within legislative and contractual obligations Ensure that records are up-to-date and of the highest standard Main Duties Perform fabric repairs of building services including fixtures and fittings Complete work record sheets and compliance documentation in accordance with contract SLAs Maintain regular communication with JCA site management team Adhere to company procedures, policies, risk assessments, and method statements Provide cover and assistance for other team members Host and escort specialist subcontractors as needed Perform other duties as assigned by management Present a professional image of JCA, exhibiting high levels of customer service What we are looking for Experience in fabric repairs and maintenance to building envelopes, fixtures, and fittings Basic knowledge of L8 ACOP Legionella Awareness Minimum of 2 years industry experience Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance Experience maintaining the fabric of commercial buildings IOSH Working Safely certification Understanding of safety best practices Minimum C+G in painting, decorating, carpentry/joinery, plumbing, or equivalent Honest, trustworthy, and open High-quality work standards and willingness to learn Self-motivated and able to make decisions independently Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to following policies and procedures Additional Information Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full-time Industry: Facilities Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
