This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background as a Chef, Culinary professional, or Hospitality educator who is passionate about teaching and inspiring the next generation of industry talent. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in the Hospitality and Catering industry to join our fantastic team at Crawley College.
You will further develop our Hospitality and Catering curriculum, working with students from Entry Level 3 upwards to help them achieve their full potential. With experience in teaching, training, or mentoring, you will deliver engaging and high-quality learning experiences that reflect current industry standards and practices.
In this role, you will also build strong relationships with the wider hospitality sector, helping to raise the profile of the College and create valuable opportunities for student enrichment and work experience. You will support student recruitment, provide advice and guidance on career progression within the culinary arts and hospitality management, and track student progress to ensure timely achievement.
We are looking for someone who is well-organised, self-motivated, and an excellent communicator. You should hold relevant hospitality qualifications and have practical experience in the catering or culinary field. Your ability to connect with students, employers, and colleagues will be key to supporting learner success and progression.
This position is offered on a part time, 18.5 hours per week basis and also on a variable hours (Associate Lecturer) basis. The working pattern will be discussed at interview.
