We are working on a retained basis with our established financial services client, specializing in funds and trusts management, who is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their professional team in Sevenoaks.
About the Role:
This Senior Accountant position offers an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role within the financial services sector. As our new Senior Accountant, you'll be responsible for preparing comprehensive accounts for our funds and trusts portfolio whilst managing and mentoring junior members of our financial services team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare complete sets of accounts in accordance with FRS102 from scratch using our specialist software
- Prepare and submit Corporation Tax returns for funds and trusts clients
- Review and supervise other team members' accounts and CT returns
- Manage and develop junior staff within our financial services department
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of funds and trusts clients
- Ensure compliance with financial services regulations and reporting standards
Requirements:
- Proven ability to prepare FRS102 compliant accounts from scratch
- Extensive experience with Corporation Tax return preparation and submission
- Experience managing and reviewing team members' work
- Strong background in similar financial services environments with portfolio client exposure
- Ideally proficient in Xero software
