We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a friendly and ambitious team at this wonderful school. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a mixed-age upper KS3 and 4 class. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, we welcome applications from those who are passionate about making a difference to young learners. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as English Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 as appropriate to your experience.
- Inspire a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
- Contribute to curriculum development and department planning.
- Support extra-curricular opportunities such as creative writing clubs, school productions or debating competitions.
