A well-resourced and supportive secondary SEN school in Greenwich is seeking a compassionate and experienced PMLD SEN Support Assistant to join their team. The school caters for students aged 11-19 with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and complex medical and physical needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with PMLD
- Assist with personal care, including toileting, feeding, and changing
- Support students with mobility and access needs (hoisting/manual handling required)
- Facilitate sensory-based learning and therapeutic activities
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and medical staff to deliver holistic care
- Maintain a calm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting students with PMLD or severe learning difficulties

- Training in Manual Handling, Hoisting, or PEG Feeding is an advantage
