NRL is working in partnership with a leading provider of technical, facilities management, regeneration, and energy services. As such, NRL are currently recruiting for a Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 2) to join our clientβs team on a permanent basis, to be based out of a modern and contemporary office in Reading.
About the Role:
As the Mobile Water Treatment Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective operation of water treatment systems across various sites. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits using appropriate tools and systems.
- Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently to maintain optimal system performance.
- Performing closed water system analytical tests, interpreting results, and carrying out necessary remediation works.
What You Will Need:
- City & Guilds or NVQ (or equivalent) relevant to the role and Tier grading.
- Proven post-qualification experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of water treatment systems and processes.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and guidance, including:
- Water Supply Regulations / Byelaws
- L8 ACOP
- HSG274
- Other applicable industry standards
Skills & Requirements:
- Excellent fault diagnosis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret water analysis results and implement corrective actions.
- Full, valid UK driving licence (essential for mobile role).
