Mission Description
Safran Helicopter Engines is the only company dedicated exclusively to rotorcraft turbines. Our UK facility is the European Maintenance Centre Hub for the SHE Group, performing maintenance and repairs on helicopter engine components. Our team provides technical expertise and support across fixed wing and rotary wing markets.
Responsibilities:
- Perform arrival inventory on engines/modules entering the Pre Induction Shop, analyze documentation, and conduct preliminary inspections.
- Identify discrepancies such as missing LRUs or erosion early in the process.
- Ensure all engine information (TSO, CSO, power checks) is available to proceed with level 4 processes.
- Explore repair possibilities within a level 3 maintenance centre.
- Update SAP Installed Base, Cockpit Work scope, and prepare the Pre Induction Report.
- Carry out secondary duties as assigned by the manager.
- Work according to company operating systems, policies, and procedures.
- Adhere to HSE legislation, report risks accordingly.
- Continuously seek process improvements and implement them.
- Support and promote company values and behaviors.

- Knowledge: Experience with Safran Helicopter Engine families (Arriel, Arrius, Makila) inspection.
- Skills: Mechanical engineering experience post-apprenticeship.
- Qualities: High consistency in quality, accurate inspection reporting.
