Role A leading UK-based independent environmental consultancy, supported by a growing team of experts in environmental policy, strategy, design, and assessment, is seeking enthusiastic and qualified applicants for several Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant roles. Due to recent project wins, they are looking for passionate individuals to contribute their expertise to EIA projects. The successful candidates will coordinate environmental inputs for major EIA projects supporting large-scale infrastructure and development projects in sectors like transport, renewable energy, and property. There will also be opportunities to work on projects requiring Strategic Environmental Assessment. You will collaborate with internal technical environmental specialists and designers to manage environmental inputs from early strategy development through feasibility, design, and discharging conditions. Work may involve various consenting regimes, including Development Consent Orders and Town and Country Planning. You will liaise with clients and sub-consultants, prepare fee proposals, and author environmental reports and EIA documentation. You should be confident engaging with diverse stakeholder groups and work effectively with technical environmental specialists and design teams to embed environmental considerations into development proposals. Core Skills and Experience While we seek the following core skills and experience, we encourage applications from those with comparable experience in environmental management, assessment, planning, or permitting: A relevant environmental degree qualification in EIA or similar Excellent knowledge of EIA processes and UK legislation Understanding of various technical environmental disciplines and development projects Experience leading the production of environmental reports and EIA documentation Strong verbal and report writing skills, including EIA review Ability to work collaboratively within a team, coordinating inputs from specialists Organized approach with proficiency in project management tools Experience engaging with stakeholder groups Experience in financial control and project management Line management or oversight of junior team members Experience in bid preparation and business development activities #J-18808-Ljbffr
