Rockley College is seeking to employ a well-qualified, enthusiastic, and motivational Curriculum Manager to join and lead our education team and deliver on our sixth form course. At Rockley, we run the NCFE Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Outdoor Adventure, a truly vocational experience for our learners, covering academic qualifications, professional national governing body instructor qualifications, and work experience. Our Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Outdoor Adventure offers students a gateway to an adrenaline-fueled world of paddlesports, sailing, windsurfing, walking, mountain biking, and climbing.

Purpose of the role:

  • To lead, manage, and develop Rockley’s sport education provision, with responsibility for the planning, delivery, and quality assurance of the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport.
  • The post-holder will drive curriculum improvement and innovation, oversee staffing and student performance, and ensure that provision remains aligned to local and national skills needs.
  • The role combines strategic sport oversight, operational management, and teaching responsibilities.
  • The current delivery is via the Outdoors pathway, so outdoor knowledge is an asset but not essential — strong vocational sport curriculum leadership is the priority.
