At Bath & North East Somerset Council, our mission is simple – to improve people’s lives. We deliver care and support to the residents of BANES across various settings, providing essential services to those who need it most. Our residents may have dementia, cognitive issues, physical disabilities, or frailty requiring support in their daily lives.
Our Settings:
- Care Residential Centre: Each Community Resource Centre includes a residential care home for 30 to 45 people, offering a safe and comfortable environment for older adults with various disabilities, including dementia.
- Extra Care: Individual homes within a community setting that promote lifestyle choices, independence, and control over one’s life.
About You:
We are looking for individuals with the right values, behaviours, and attitudes to join our team! No previous experience or qualifications are necessary – we will support you in growing and developing into an excellent care worker. What is Bank Work?
Bank work is flexible work to support when the need arises within the service. We use bank staff to support our permanent staff members when gaps are identified (sickness/holidays/heightened demand). This is not a permanent contract of employment.
