Front of House Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Front of House Assistant to join our team at one of our independent schools in Harrogate, HG1.

Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who value great food as a key part of their culture and community. Our work spans office restaurants, independent schools, and conference venues, maintaining a high-end ethos throughout.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Front of House Assistant on a casual contract to support our team during busy periods, working when available as needed.

The role primarily involves front of house duties, customer interaction, with some back of house work when required.

Responsibilities include preparing dining areas for service, serving customers, and cleaning areas post-service.

Dishwashing and pan washing duties as required.

During term time, catering for three meals and snacks daily, seven days a week for boarders and day pupils, along with additional internal catering needs including lunches, special dinners, and events.

As our Front of House Assistant, you will:

• Have flexibility to work both front and back of house roles
• Preferably have experience in a similar environment
• Possess experience in a customer-focused role
• Maintain a professional approach
• Keep the servery areas well-presented at all times
