We’re working with a well-known, trusted brand in the North West that’s about to embark on a major data transformation — and they’re looking for an experienced Data Architect to help lead the way.

This is a key role in a long-term programme to move their enterprise data estate from a legacy on-prem setup to a modern, cloud-first environment (Azure). You’ll be shaping the future of how data is stored, moved, and used across the business — from defining security and governance frameworks, to building scalable models and pipelines.

  • Leading the design of data architecture for cloud migration (ideally Azure)
  • Defining secure, scalable data models and transformation pipelines
  • Working with teams across the business to align data strategy with enterprise goals
  • Bringing structure and clarity to complex data landscapes using frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman
  • Helping the business make the most of real-time data capabilities

Strong experience designing and delivering data architecture in enterprise environments. Familiarity with tools like Databricks, Data Factory, Spark, and Microsoft Fabric. A good grasp of data security, modelling, and transformation principles. Experience with real-time data processing is a big plus.
