As our Engine Department grows, we’re looking to appoint a Dyno Operator to strengthen our busy Dyno Team. Responsible for the operation and testing of our high-performance powertrains, our Dyno Operators develop skills across a range of competition powertrain units to maximise performance. The role responsibilities include:
- Mounting and running of all new and re-built engines.
- Changing the physical test cell configuration to run different specifications of engine.
- Set-up and calibration of the gauges and measuring equipment.
- Putting engines through dedicated testing routines, to prove out performance, reliability, and durability.
- Ensuring all testing records are documented and up to date.
We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. You should be educated to technician level and have a thorough understanding of engine mechanics and their systems. You should pride yourself on your attention to detail and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment. You should have excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving and implementing solutions with an analytical approach. You should be computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office. You should share our determination to deliver a winning performance for the very best results.
