This will initially be a 12-month fixed-term contract to support the growth of our team. This is a great opportunity for you to really boost our team\’s talent, bringing in a wider range of people for both permanent and temporary roles, and making our resourcing smarter and more efficient. You\’ll work closely with our HR Resourcing Manager to deliver recruitment to support our growth. You\’ll need to know your way around different types of recruitment, always aiming for best practice, and keep an eye on industry trends to make sure we\’re giving candidates a great experience and finding the best people for the job. Main responsibilities: Work together with the HR Resourcing Manager and Hiring managers to choose the best course of action and comprehend hiring requirements. At each stage of the hiring process, offer advice and assistance to hiring managers, candidates, and agency partners. Assist the HR Resourcing Manager with the end-to-end hiring process by performing all administrative tasks, including writing and posting job advertisements on job boards, social media, and career websites. Organise and complete the paperwork and new hire checks required to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain records for the hiring processes. Respond regularly to candidates\’, agency partners\’, and hiring managers\’ emails, calls, and posts. Set priorities as needed to ensure the function\’s success. Use social media platforms, CV databases, and professional networks to source new talent, conduct searches, message candidates proactively, and utilise talent pooling to reduce costs. Plan and coordinate the hiring process, including conducting phone interviews, tests, and assessments, providing a shortlist of qualified applicants, scheduling interviews, and overseeing onboarding. Use recruitment practices that promote equality, diversity, and inclusivity. Keep abreast of market developments and industry trends to inform hiring strategies and improve procedures. Manage open positions and applicants through all hiring stages, ensuring data accuracy and compliance. Recognise different worker categories and ensure onboarding compliance. Update applicant information in HR systems and support data reporting for decision-making. Maintain awareness of legislation and social attitudes affecting recruitment practices. Skills / Qualifications / Experience: Educated to A-Level or equivalent. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Highly organised with good prioritisation skills. Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition. Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruitment. Familiar with social media, CV databases, and professional networks. Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (we use Workday). Understanding of selection methods and onboarding processes. Experience working with external agency partners. Desirable: CIPD Level 5 or degree in Human Resource Management. Copywriting skills.
