BIM CAD Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a BIM CAD Engineer, located in Cirencester (hybrid working is a possibility). The BIM CAD Engineer will work alongside our current CAD manager and Contracts Development Manager, responsible for creating detailed 2D/3D models and drawings for mechanical engineering projects using CAD software. Daily tasks include collaborating with engineers and designers, preparing layouts, performing physical design work, and ensuring designs meet industry standards and client specifications. The role also involves using Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and staying updated with Cadence software. Qualifications Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software – AutoCAD MEP Accuracy in drawings and designs, meeting internal, client, and industry standards Experience in Mechanical Building Services Engineering and Physical Design Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Attention to detail and work accuracy Qualifications in AutoCAD and Mechanical (Building Services) Engineering or related fields Experience in BIM and CAD roles is essential Knowledge of BIM and standards like BS1192/ISO19650 Competence in MS Office and working with AutoDesk Construction Cloud or other CDEs Additional Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Engineering and Information Technology #J-18808-Ljbffr
