MC Technical Recruitment are currently working with a global leader in energy and power generation solutions to recruit an Electrical Technician to join their expanding UK service team. This is a field-based role with regular UK-wide travel. While your location is flexible, you must be comfortable with 1-2 nights away from home per week. You will be supporting the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of advanced energy systems at customer sites across the country.
As the Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Perform electrical maintenance, testing, and fault-finding on CHP (combined heat and power), Gen-Sets and energy systems
- Support commissioning of new installations and upgrades
- Respond to planned and reactive maintenance tasks across customer sites
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and service coordinators to deliver a high-quality service
- Participate in the 1-in-4 call-out rota, covering emergency breakdowns
- Other duties as required
To be considered you should have:
- Qualified electrical engineer or technician (NVQ, City & Guilds, 18th Edition, or equivalent)
- Previous experience in power generation, CHP, or industrial electrical systems preferred
- Willing to travel regularly and stay away from home 1-2 nights per week
- Full UK driving licence
Whatβs on Offer:
- Up to Β£42,000 base salary depending on experience
