Hours: 37 per week, Monday - Friday 14.00hrs - 22.00hrs

Contract: Temporary

Salary: £15.58 per hour

From refuse collection to gritting and sweeping, you'll drive specialist vehicles and lead a small, dedicated crew making a real difference every single day.

What You'll Need:

  • Valid Class 2 HGV Driving Licence
  • CPC qualification
  • Experience with refuse trucks, gritters, or sweepers ideal
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • A passion for public service
  • Solid knowledge of Health & Safety and road safety in busy environments
  • Confidence to lead a small crew, delegate tasks, and manage route performance
  • Ability to use in-cab systems and digital devices to record service updates and incidents

  • Flexibility & physical fitness - comfortable working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and in all weather
