Aspire People are seeking passionate and dedicated Supply SEN Teachers to work across a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools and Alternative Provision settings in Northamptonshire. We are looking for qualified teachers with a strong understanding of inclusive education who can deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and MLD/SLD. This is an exciting opportunity for teachers who thrive in a flexible role, enjoy variety in their work, and are committed to making a real difference in the lives of students who require additional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to pupils with diverse SEN needs
  • Plan and adapt lessons to accommodate individual learning needs and EHCP targets
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, and other professionals
  • Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive behaviour strategies
  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed at all times

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working in SEN settings or with students with special educational needs
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and resilient attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
