HMP Littlehey is a prison near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire for men convicted of a sex offence.
Shift Pattern: 37 Hours per week. The shift patterns can be from the below:
- Early - anything from 7am - 13.45
- Main - anything from 7am - 17.30
- Late - 12.15 - 21.00
- A Shifts (all day) - anything from 7am - 21.00
- Nights Mon-Fri - 20.30 - 07.30 (Followed by a week off if a full set is completed)
Hourly Rate: £14.97; Overtime weekdays £21.71; Overtime weekends £26.95.
Please note that you will be expected to work days, evenings and nights, although we can consider those who would prefer working a constant night shift only. This is a temporary contract with an estimated end date of mid-2026.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage entry/exit and searches at the gate
- Escort contractors, vehicles, and prisoners
- Monitor CCTV, report suspicious activity
- Process visitors and oversee mail censorship
- Assist with prisoner processing and food delivery
