Who is this role great for: 

• An individual with a keen interest in data, who is interested in progressing into Data Science roles. 
• A graduate who wants to get their foot in the door in a Financial Technology start-up and gain useful career experience. 
• An individual who is interested in a career change into Financial Technology and Data roles.

Your role: You will be responsible for a number of tasks to drive the business forward, including:

• Accurately labelling and annotating data according to detailed guidelines;
• Analysing written content to make judgement calls based on tone, context, or meaning;
• Providing feedback on edge cases or unclear scenarios to improve model training;
• Collaborating with the product and data teams to refine labelling processes.

Requirements: To really excel in this role, you will:

• Excellent written communication skills;
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with nuanced or subjective information;
• Analytical thinking – able to make consistent decisions with limited information;
• Comfortable working independently, with a strong sense of focus;
• Based in or near Newcastle upon Tyne – we’re keen to support local talent!
