Team Swift are recruiting for a Technical Illustrator who will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of high-quality CAD Illustrations for dealer aftersales purposes for Swift's complex product range of leisure vehicles. The ideal candidate will be a creative and innovative individual with keen attention to detail and experience using PTC Creo, they will need to work diligently to ensure illustrations are available for all products at point of despatch. You will have the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, EPIC, dynamic and modern manufacturing environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The creation and maintenance of illustration drawings in PTC Creo.
  • Preparation and issuing of paperwork working accurately and efficiently to meet project timing requirements.
  • Liaise with other members of the project team to resolve process and operational issues that inhibit effective project delivery.
  • Provide regular status reports to the Senior CAD Design Engineer of quality and timing issues.
  • Manage and implement change through processes and communicate with other departments to deal with enquiries both efficiently and effectively.
  • Support the D&D Technical Support team with information and support with direct involvement and communication with customers and dealers when required.
  • Understand and adopt best practice tools and techniques for project information work in order to maximize efficiency and quality of output.
  • Actively support and champion our EPIC Core Values.
  • Be familiar with, and adhere to, Company policies and procedures.
  • Compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5 GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • High standard of further education such as AS and/or A Level.
  • Additional relevant qualifications in Design or technical subjects would be an advantage.
  • Capable and experienced in general office administrative working practices.
  • Experience of a drawing office environment, or a willingness to work and learn in such an environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to project deadlines, whilst maintaining adherence to process disciplines.
  • Strong attention to detail skills with the ability to check and proofread a variety of documents.
  • Excellent decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and reporting skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, enthusiastic and motivated.
