Seeking a Commercial Accountant for a 3-month contract within a design company based in central London. The person will provide support to the Finance Business Partner in all the monthly, annual, and ad hoc commercial performance and planning activities of the business. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day reporting of projects and business performance. It will play an integral part in the Operational team supporting the Finance team, Creative Teams, and Client Services.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Paprika system, Google Docs, spreadsheets, and other reporting tools.
- Deliver timely and accurate performance reports, including:
- Collaborate with the Client Services team for accurate job setup and data entry.
- Assist the Finance Business Partner with Commercial Reporting, e.g., Revenue Forecasting and Pipeline Analysis.
- Identify trends within Studio Utilisation and highlight key areas for improvement.
- Partner with the Partnerships & Growth team to track leads and relevant data.
- Own weekly Capacity Reporting to assess team workload and project capacity.
- Be the main point of contact for job queries within the Finance department.
- Update the accounting system with personnel changes such as new starters, leavers, and promotions.
- Assist in preparing the Monthly Commercial Reporting Pack.
- Contribute to Quarterly Board Meeting Packs.
- Support system enhancements and process improvements to streamline financial operations and increase efficiency.
- Support the Finance Business Partner with ad-hoc commercial requests.
