A respected and growing accountancy firm based in the Warrington / Wigan area is looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who will take the lead on all things tax, managing both compliance and advisory work across personal and corporate clients.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients
  • Handle tax compliance of all levels
  • Prepare and submit self-assessment and corporation tax returns
  • Advise clients on a broad range of personal and business tax matters
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
  • Spot planning opportunities and flag risks
  • Support junior staff with tax queries when needed

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in both personal and corporate tax
  • Ideally CTA, ATT or ACCA qualified
  • Confident managing a varied tax portfolio end-to-end
  • Comfortable being the sole tax specialist in the office
  • Great communicator who enjoys working with owner-managed businesses
