The company boasts a strong team and is continuously optimizing its processes to enhance productivity. They need a versatile, driven Production Operations Manager who is hands-on and strategic, capable of working at all levels to maintain their reputation for outstanding quality and service. As Operations Manager, you will shape and develop the operational aspects of the business, including managing manufacturing and supply chain operations. You should have a passion for innovation and a keen eye for aligning capacity, lead times, and output to meet expanding market demands and growth targets. You will be a natural leader, capable of coordinating workflows between departments, monitoring and improving processes, ensuring on-time delivery, exceptional quality, and customer satisfaction, with the mindset to implement transformational change. Key Responsibilities Oversee manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics operations Plan resources and capacity strategically Coordinate with external customers and internal teams to meet and exceed quality, cost, and delivery expectations Develop and execute manufacturing and inventory plans Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes and quality standards Identify additional resource needs, including staffing, facilities, equipment, and IT hardware/software Manage supply chain, supplier development, and optimize ERP system modules to ensure timely delivery of materials and components Ensure products meet quality standards and technical specifications Support the day-to-day operations of the production workshop as part of the team Candidate Profile To succeed, you should have: Proven experience in production and operations management Experience working with electro-mechanical assembled products Strong leadership presence on the shop floor, with the ability to mentor and drive improvements Experience in low to medium volume production environments Good understanding of ERP/MRP systems Expertise in Lean and continuous improvement methodologies Please contact Alison Kemp for further details or apply via the provided link.
