The Role:
We’re currently recruiting a Stadium Senior Grounds Supervisor within our Stadium Grounds Department to help us take things to the next level.
Key responsibilities
- To be responsible for the efficient day-to-day maintenance of the pitch and surrounding landscape of the Club’s Stadium site.
- To show proactiveness and to be able to work well within a team to deliver exceptional standards.
- To provide senior level support to both the Stadium Grounds and Deputy Grounds Managers.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of turf and artificial surfaces.
- Lead the wider team in the completion of tasks as set by the Stadium Grounds Manager and Deputy Stadium Grounds Manager.
- Demonstrate a safe use of pedestrian and ride on machinery.
- Oversee the renovation of pitches and grass areas.
- Monitor pitches daily, record all appropriate information.
- Always ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to, adopting safe working practices.
- Assist with grow in and establishment procedures of turf pitch.
- Keep all equipment and materials in good condition.
- Report any damage or defects of equipment/machinery to the Head Mechanic.
- Keep up to date with all relevant industry developments.
- Monitor and maintain wash down facilities.
- Assist with the operation and repair of onsite irrigation.

- NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- PA1, 2 & 6 spraying certificates.
