PE Global is recruiting a Administrative Assistant for our food manufacturing client based in Reading. The role is an initial 6-month contract. The rate for this role is £12.18 PAYE p/h.
Responsibilities of the role:
- An Administrator to support the lab activities… someone good at organising, arranging and communicating.
- This role wouldn\’t be suited to a graduate.
- Ensure samples are logged into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure the efficient throughput of samples in CSA from receipt to laboratory.
- Sub-sample multi-lab project samples, strictly adhering to all requirements of QSOP-149.
- Liaise with customers to ensure correct information is available.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by acting as an interface with customers and deliver excellent customer service.
- Ensure consistency, technical precision and compliance with methods of work and look to identify improvements.
- Work as part of the CSA team to high standards of safety and quality.
- Collaborate with Operational Teams to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to meet an ever changing customer environment.
- Work to the highest standards of safety and quality by ensuring that appropriate COSHHs, risk assessments and SOPs are understood and followed.
- Complete assigned quality actions on a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Understand and work to the requirements of GMP and UKAS or Home Office regulations as required.
- Ensure training records are up to date and accurate.
Requirements:
- Educated to A-level/HNC level or have industry experience to be able to fulfil requirements.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet customer/business requirements. Well organised and capable of working on multiple activities concurrently. Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent inter-personal skills, with the ability to interact effectively by with customers and colleagues by telephone, written communication and face-to-face.
