This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PLC Control systems specialist to be a part of a global powerhouse within hi-tech, regulated engineering environments. Based out of a state-of-the-art facility in West London, this business is a global leader with thousands of staff worldwide and ambitious growth plans for 2025 and are at the centre of the UK’s mission critical projects.

Role Overview

You will design, develop and maintain cutting edge PLC systems for mission critical products, essential in both product development and through-life capacity. Alongside this, you will develop to customer requirements, produce technical documentation and validate software designs.

What are we looking for?

  • Seasoned PLC control systems engineering experience within a regulated environment, i.e.: aerospace, defence, maritime, pharma, automotive etc.
  • Strong understanding of SCADA and Siemens PLC systems.
  • Appreciation for industrial communication protocols and networking standards: Profibus/Profinet/ModBus, TCP/IP, UDP, ASCII.
  • Degree/HND/HNC in electrical/electronic engineering OR C&I engineering/systems.
