Ganymede Solutions is partnering with a major player in the UK rail sector to recruit an Electrical Technician for a high-profile digital modifications project at Manchester International Depot. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a multi-million-pound fleet digitalisation programme, working on the latest passenger-facing and onboard technologies. Responsibilities Installing and testing digital equipment as part of a fleet-wide upgrade Working on systems such as Wi-Fi, Ethernet backbones, CCTV/NVR, USB sockets, passenger information systems, and driver\’s cab upgrades Ensuring all work meets technical and safety standards within project timeframes Collaborating with a skilled team to deliver quality work Requirements City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) Minimum 3 years\’ experience working on rolling stock Strong team communication skills and attention to detail Availability to start between 26th May and 2nd June Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screening and full railway medical Provision of Right to Work documentation before start date A proactive, can-do attitude About the Company You\’ll be joining a trusted and forward-thinking organisation in the rail industry with a proven track record of delivering innovation across its fleet.
