An exciting opportunity has opened for a Valuation Surveyor who is ready to step into a Surveyor, Senior Surveyor, Associate or even Senior Associate level to join a successful and collaborative team at Bruton Knowles who has deep local roots and national reach.
Location: Bristol, with access to our Bristol hub.
Work Pattern: This role is permanent, full time. For this role you will be working remotely. We're happy to consider flexible working approaches for this role.
About the role: You will have a key role in delivering Red Book-compliant valuations for commercial, bank & investment and development land. We have a diverse portfolio of commercial property and development land, giving you the variety and scope to keep your work engaging and high-impact. You will have the opportunity to contribute to larger portfolio valuations and benefit from the shared knowledge of specialists across the UK.
This opportunity would suit someone who is a Chartered Surveyor and a Registered Valuer to carry out Red Book valuations on commercial, bank/investment properties. Experience in the trade related valuation sector would also be considered.
What youβll be doing:
- Carrying out Red Book valuations of commercial and residential properties for secured lending and accounting purposes.
- Fee Earner β maximise fee income.
- Maximising efficiency and optimising the profitability of work for the team.
- Supporting the team in providing high quality valuation advice to a wide range of clients.
- Helping to secure business opportunities from client development for the company.
Qualifications & Experience: To be successful you must have the following:
- MRICS/FRICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer status essential.
- 2 years PQE valuation experience or those approaching Registered Valuer status will be considered.
- Experience in commercial valuation within consultancy, bank/investment market, with some experience of valuing mixed use properties (i.e includes some residential).
- Full Driving licence and access to a car.
Interview Process: An initial 10-15 minutes confidential call about the role with the recruiter Naomi Corcoran, followed by a one stage competency-based interview with the Valuations Head of/Partner.
