The Role
As a Portfolio Management Office Lead, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will lead the functional PMO and become the PMO point of contact. Day-to-day, you’ll develop the PMO strategy and implement any associated initiatives.
- Lead PMO and governance related meetings
- Own the implementation of governance related change and improvements
- Lead governance audits and strive to achieve green status across mission systems
- Own governance related process and policy compliance
- Leading global project management framework adoption within mission systems
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Portfolio Management Office Lead:
- Experience in similar PMO role
- Good understanding of project governance and controls
- Experience of motivating direct and indirect teams
- Experience of implementing and communicating change across matrix organisation
- Ability to present information to senior stakeholders
Qualifications for the Portfolio Management Office Lead:
- Degree level qualified in relevant subject
