We at the Irish FA Foundation are seeking volunteers to support at our McDonalds Fun Football centres, that are based across the country. McDonald’s Fun Football is a free program run by McDonald’s and the Irish FA Foundation to introduce children to football. McDonalds Fun Football is a four-week beginner-level coaching program for children aged five and above. The sessions are designed and delivered by FA accredited coaches in a safe, fun, and pressure-free environment.

We are looking for enthusiastic and creative individuals to support the delivery of the McDonalds Fun Football Programme to ensure that the participants have a positive initial experience, and that they are eager to continue to play football after they complete the programme.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Register participants on arrival at the venue
  • Support in the delivery of activities with the head coach during the sessions
  • Liaise with the coaching team to plan and deliver sessions
  • Support needs of participants whilst in the sessions
