The QHSE Lead will be part of the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) team, reporting directly to the QHSE Manager. This role is crucial for maintaining quality control, health and safety, and environmental processes and systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation control and maintenance.
  • Support with QMS documentation.
  • Conduct internal audits.
  • Investigate near misses, incidents, accidents, complaints, and non-conformances.
  • Administer change control processes.
  • Maintain environmental records and electronic specification library.
  • Liaise with contractors/service engineers for supply chain documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, auditors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 GCSEs at Grade C or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Office 365, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and internal auditing.
  • Experience in investigating client complaints, non-conformance, near misses, incidents, and accidents.
  • Knowledge of health and safety and environmental legislation is preferred.
  • Primarily office-based with occasional manufacturing site visits.
  • Regular use of computers and office equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
  • Discretion and confidentiality are essential.
