We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated person with excellent organisational and admin skills to work as a Legal Support Officer/Paralegal in the Legal Services Property Team. This is a friendly and busy team which regularly engages with different client departments across the Council. The role requires working at least 3/4 days in the office at Hove Town Hall, with some flexibility to work from home on other days. The work is extensive, and you will work closely with other legal teams in legal services. About the role Fixed term: 24 months Closing date: 23:59 on 6th July 2025 Interview date: 22nd or 24th July 2025 Role responsibilities Drafting simple legal and transactional documents Reporting to and communicating with clients Recording information within case management software and databases Conducting legal research, including the use of AI Performing general administrative duties We support staff to achieve their goals, balancing work and career development.
