Software Engineer - Node/React/Hapi.js

Job Title: Software Engineer – Node.js/React/Hapi.js Location: Remote Based, (must be UK) Contract: Initial 3 month Rate: £70-75hr Inside IR35 (37.5 hour week) Security Clearance: SC clearance required (or ability to obtain) The Opportunity Join a collaborative team building secure, user-focused web applications for impactful public sector projects. You\’ll work with modern web technologies across the full stack, contributing to meaningful digital services that make a real-world difference. The Role As a Software Engineer, you will: Build and maintain apps using Node.js, Hapi.js, and React Develop responsive UIs using GDS design system and CSS best practices Support deployments in AWS and containerisation with Docker Participate in Agile delivery and contribute to code reviews Troubleshoot across the stack and write clear documentation The Person Essential: Strong JavaScript skills and web dev experience Backend knowledge with Node.js, frontend with React RESTful API understanding and responsive design basics Familiarity with Git, Agile working, and collaborative tools Understanding of GDS (Government Digital Services) Guidelines Ability to obtain UK SC Clearance if not already in place Desirable: Experience with Hapi.js, Docker, AWS, or DevOps tools Exposure to geospatial data or mentoring others Clearance: Must hold or be willing to obtain SC clearance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
