Role Description

This is opportunity is for self employed couples counsellors where you will work as an independent contractor. If you have existing clients you can bring them with you. The Couples Counsellor will be responsible for providing counselling to couples, conducting therapy sessions, and helping clients navigate relationship challenges in a supportive environment. You will handle all client interaction and payment. The Sheffield Wellness centre will bill you for the time you use the room for to conduct these sessions. Room hire rates are £12.50 per hour Monday to Friday and £6.25 per hour at weekends.

We have more inquiries for couples counselling than we are currently able to serve so need another therapist to join the team. Clients often want varying times for appointments but commonly they would like sessions after 3pm or at weekends so if you are available then that would be ideal. You can set your own hours and the centre is open 7 days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience in couples counselling and therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of relationship dynamics and conflict resolution techniques
• Ability to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients
• Experience in individual counselling is a plus
• Completion of relevant counselling certifications or licenses
