Main Duties:
- Provide high-quality physiotherapy across acute inpatient rotations: Respiratory, Surgery, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Stroke, Acute Medicine, Elderly Medicine, and Urgent Care & Frailty.
- Participate in the evening and weekend respiratory on-call service.
- Conduct advanced assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for patients with complex conditions.
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapy colleagues for joint assessments and treatment plans.
- Manage a caseload independently, contributing to patient flow through board rounds and ward meetings.
- Identify patient care pathways and suitable discharge locations.
- Mentor Band 5 physiotherapists and supervise physiotherapy students.
- Support newly registered staff during their preceptorship.
