We currently offer a fantastic opportunity to join a successful Fresh Produce supplier, who are at the forefront of their product categories within the industry, supplying UK Retailers with the best produce from Worldwide Growers. Due to continued success, we are delighted to offer the opportunity of Assistant Technical Manager to become an integral member of the team.
The position of Assistant Technical Manager will support the Technical Manager within a dedicated fresh produce product category, which is ever-expanding and offers the opportunity to work positively with key retail customers to build successful relationships and become a fundamental part of future success.
Regular contact with suppliers ensures a confident technical knowledge from source when managing the day-to-day product quality issues, customer complaints, customer specification management, and providing the highest level of service to the customer.
Requirements:
- Experience gained within the Food / Fresh Produce sector in a technically focused position
- Confident ability to work with retail customers and international suppliers
- Strong IT skills and ability to manage data and generate reports

Hours: Monday – Friday, with some flexibility to cover a Saturday morning.
