We have an exciting new opportunity for a Globe Co-ordinator to join our Nestlé Dalston Factory. Our Dalston Factory is the home of Nescafe and produces a range of Cappuccino, Aero, and Coffee Mate products. These are produced through a highly automated PLC controlled process plant and automated filling and packing lines. It is continually developing our recipes and expanding our leading brands.

A Day in the Life of a Globe Co-Ordinator:

The successful applicant will support and develop a strong understanding of the Globe (SAP) system to provide support and coaching to Operations Users. Reporting into the Finance/ Business Continuity Support Manager, key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Provision of Compliance focus to support Operations to achieve and maintain a state of constant audit readiness.
  • Maintaining end user GLOBE transactional knowledge (including external solutions e.g. NSAM, DMO, MRT, Palman). This includes the completion of training, coaching and support for Shift Leaders and Operation Users.
  • Drive accuracy in data capture and compliance by use of appropriate Daily/Weekly/Monthly Health-Checks of the Systems; ensuring investigation and rectification of the data and system errors.
  • Act as a local Committee member supporting Operations.
  • Provide focus & support to Operations for the successful implementation of any new systems initiatives e.g. DMO, AGV & auto-labelling project.
  • Support Operations by analysing Process Order variances, driving accuracy, efficiency of process, and coaching support.
  • Upskill themselves to ensure that they are knowledgeable in the most up-to-date General Instructions/Manufacturing Instructions and adhering to best practice.
  • Recognising potential gaps and improvement opportunities to leverage the benefits of GLOBE.
  • Training new users/new starters in the systems and GLOBE processes related to their areas, including assisting users with setting up defaults and variants.
  • Maintaining user competency in BCP processes.
  • First point of contact for users' system related problems escalating to the Business Continuity Support Manager as appropriate.
  • Support Production in the completion of regular inventory counts.

Candidate Requirements:

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience + potential bonus + generous pension scheme + 12 flexible days on top of 25-day holiday entitlement + 2 paid volunteering days + other fantastic benefits!
