We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled HVAC Engineer with a Mechanical Bias to join our clients team. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of critical building systems in a Hard Facilities Management (Hard FM) environment. Based in SW1A, you will be part of a professional team maintaining high standards of performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Maintenance: Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on critical HVAC and building systems.
  • Problem Solving: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across systems including HVAC, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Building Management Systems: Operate and troubleshoot building management systems (BMS) to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work complies with industry standards, company policies, and health & safety regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside other engineers and contractors to achieve seamless service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Essential: Recognised and relevant UK qualification in an engineering discipline (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds equivalent). Minimum 5 years’ experience in a multi-skilled engineering role, preferably within a Hard FM environment. Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of critical building systems. Solid understanding of building management systems (BMS).
  • Desirable: Existing Authorised Person (AP) qualification. Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
