Vickers Neal Recruitment are delighted to be working with Elegant Clutter based at their site in Warwick. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Installation Technician to join their established team to assist with the installation of Artwork for their commercial clients, including the installation of wallpaper and vinyl coverings.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with installations on site, providing an expert and professional service to our clients while maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Follow procedures for loading and unloading the vans.
  • Maintain a clean UK/EU driving licence; complete daily vehicle checks and fill out all necessary forms before driving.
  • Assist with installations of wallpaper and vinyl; training will be provided.
  • Communicate with Project Managers to identify installation requirements and update any modifications as necessary.
  • Ensure you have the correct tools & supplies before departing for installations; be proactive in gathering all necessary information for successful installation.
  • Work closely with co-workers and Project Managers to ensure appropriate and safe fixing methods are used for both 2D (framed artwork, mirrors) and 3D art (sculptural artwork, wall claddings, etc.).

Production:

When not on site installing, you will be required to assist with production, allowing you the opportunity to use your existing or learn new carpentry, picture framing, or various art/craft skills. You will be required to ensure that health and safety remains a priority both on site and at Elegant Clutter production premises; this includes the use of PPE at all times, manual handling techniques, correct use of installation equipment including ladders and scaffolding, and general health and safety on site.

A clean driving license is a MUST for this position!
