An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced candidate to join the communications department at Norwich City Football Club in the role of Women's Football Matchday Journalist. This is an excellent role for someone who is highly motivated and committed to work towards achieving long-term growth of the women's game. This is a part time role, working 6 hours per week.
Key Tasks/Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver real-time matchday updates across the club's official social media channels.
- Produce clear, engaging, and accurate match reports to tight deadlines, in line with the club's editorial style.
- Conduct post-match interviews with players and coaching staff.
- Collaborate with the wider media team to showcase key moments and stories.
- Act in a manner that supports the club's values of Growth, Integrity, Belonging, Resilience, Pride and Commitment.
