The Role

As an IT Operations Engineer, you will manage and enhance the corporate IT infrastructure, both on-premise and in the cloud. If you're a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a high-performance, collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

  • Maintain and develop cloud and on-premise IT infrastructure.
  • Support IT systems security, resilience, and compliance (ISO27001, Cyber Essentials).
  • Work with suppliers to ensure value-driven IT solutions.
  • Implement automation and scripting to improve efficiency.
  • Management & Maintenance of Operating Systems including relevant technologies/tools (Windows PC, Windows Server, Linux, Windows Active Directory, Windows Group Policy, Endpoint Management, Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware).

Your Profile

  • Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and endpoint management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Salary & Benefits

  • The salary is between £45,000-£55,000 per annum.
  • Remote or hybrid working.
  • Minimum of 4 days a year for quarterly meetings.
  • Flexible working hours around a schedule that suits you.
  • 24 days holiday. Increase after 3 years to 27 days, and 1 more for each year of service up to a total of 34 days!
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • 6% Employer Contribution to Workplace Pension Scheme.
  • Childcare vouchers.
