JMC Aviation is working with a Maintenance Repair Organisation based in Oxford, looking to recruit a new Planning Engineer to join their team. This MRO is a leading private aviation entity, specialising in both fixed wing and rotorcraft operations. This is a Permanent Position based in Oxford, UK. Working onsite, Monday to Friday.

The Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to liaise with the operator to assess and coordinate maintenance requirements.
Other Duties Involve:
- Identify and source tooling and materials required to support maintenance activities
- Develop and manage comprehensive maintenance work packs
- Draft logbook certificates in accordance with regulatory standards
- Review completed work packs for compliance with relevant regulations
- Integrate operator maintenance programmes into MRO software systems
- Provide planning support throughout the maintenance lifecycle
- Monitor and report on labour budget utilisation during maintenance inputs
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure efficient execution of maintenance tasks
- Drive improvements in planning processes, including time booking and work pack completion
- Support technology upgrades and process enhancements

- Proven technical background within the aviation sector
- Prior experience in a planning or maintenance coordination role within an MRO environment
